Office Compliance

                                                     Compliance Counts!

Office safety and quality medical care are dependent on many factors, including compliance with the numerous laws that impact the delivery of health care services in the United States.  It is critical that office-based practices are cognizant of the health laws applicable to their business, and that regulatory compliance is included in the practice’s comprehensive management plan.  Keeping up with health legislation can seem like a full time job, and therefore it is strongly recommended that providers work closely with their compliance staff and/or with an attorney that specializes in health law when developing, assessing, or revamping a compliance program.

The general information contained in this section of the SCOPE website will provide the basic building blocks for each area of law presented, and should enable you to have productive and informed discussions with your compliance staff and/or your legal counsel to aid in the identification and mitigation of compliance risk areas.
